"WINTER, THE FIRST SNOW STORM 1978"

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD

The wonder of it all.

The Beauty of it all.

I went to the window and looked out early in the morning,

I saw a beautiful white world and a quiet world;

The quietness of it all

Not a sound did I hear

Not a person walking, not a car was moving

Not a bird was singing, or flying

No sound of music or sorrow

Just a beautiful snow white world.

That seemed to whisper softly;

The words of the Psalm

Be still and know that I am God.

The world of every complex

We are in the world and the world is in us.

In a world of beauty in silence

A world of sin and confusion

A world of love and hatred

A world of joy and sorrow

A world of war and peace

A world of many faces and places

A world of friends and foes

A friend that will never fail us

Whose voice still calls out to all man and beast

Birds of the air and to fish of the sea ....

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD
